Rotary State of Mind
Be grateful for every day you see a sunrise or sunset,
Be thankful for the fellow Rotarians you have ever met,
Be thoughtful for the charitable things you do with good cheer,
Carry those good deeds from the past and into the New Year.
Be mindful for the many lives you continue to touch,
To connect with people in so many ways and have it mean so much,
Regardless of your politics or Religion, let your acts be kind,
You'll make the world a better place when you're in a Rotary State of Mind.

SHELTER BOX PROJECT SPEAKERS AVAILABLE
Two members of the Auburn Gold Country Rotary, Alan Young and Jeanette Bullock, have recently been named official District 5190 representatives for the Shelter Box Project. For those of you unfamiliar with Shelter Box, it is an international disaster relief organization that provides shelter and lifesaving equipment after natural and man made disasters. Responding to over 100 disasters in more than 60 countries, Shelter Box has firmly established itself at the forefront of disaster relief.
Alan and Jeanette are deeply committed to increase support for the Shelter Box Project, and are available to speak during Rotary and other community meetings and events. Alan can be reached by calling (916) 764-1225, and Jeanette can be reached by calling (530) 269-1077.
