AUBURN GOLD COUNTRY ROTARY meets at the RIDGE Golf Course, in Auburn, near the airport, every Thursday, @12:15. Our membership is about 40. We have a wide range of vocations in our club. Our current President is Jimmy Mullenix. Some of the vocations we are looking for is
Travel Agents, Construction/Contractors, Retail, & Physicians, Dentist.

In 2010 Shelter Box will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary. It's hard to believe that in ten short years, Shelter Box has firmly established itself at the forefront of international disaster relief, providing aid to survivors of over 100 disasters in more than 62 countries, and is the largest Rotary Club project in the world. As the only international disaster organization that provides shelter and lifesaving equipment, Shelter Box instantly responds to earthquake, volcano, flood, hurricane, cyclone, tsunami or conflict by delivering boxes of aid. Other aid organizations have told us that our green box stands out as a symbol of hope in a landscape of disarray. In many cases, our boxes make the difference between life and death. Alan Young & Jeanette made a presentation at the meeting about Shelter Box and it's benefits in times of disaster. Alan and his crew setup a entire Shelter Box to demonstrate just what it means to have this kind of relief and protection from the element. This is truly amazing to see.

Auburn Interfaith Food Closet is one of the organizations we support throughout our volunteer work in the community. In these hard times, the food closet is source of help for those who need it. During our RAW (Rotarians At Work Day), the food closet was one of our organization we work toward helping with food collection.
